Catch Defects
Before They Leave China.

By the time a quality problem reaches your warehouse, it's already cost you money — in returns, re-shipments, and customer trust. Our inspectors, working to ISO 2859-1 AQL standards, catch issues on the factory floor, before a single unit is loaded for export.

INSPECTION TYPES

  • Pre-Production Inspection (PPI)
  • During Production Inspection (DUPRO)
  • Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI)
  • Container Loading Supervision
  • Factory Audit
  • Re-inspection after corrections — a new quoted visit

The Bolang Factory Visit

One visit, quoted per request, and you choose what it is for: a supplier verification visit, or a pre-shipment inspection.

  • One factory, one visit — verification or pre-shipment inspection, your call
  • A photo-documented written report within 24 hours of the visit
  • Pre-shipment inspections are run to ISO 2859-1 AQL sampling
  • We cover factories across China’s main manufacturing regions
  • Re-inspection after a failed batch is a new quoted visit — except where our own work was incomplete or wrong, in which case we go back at our cost
Book a Visit

Every visit is quoted per request — tell us the factory, the product and what you need checked, and we come back with a price and a date. We confirm the visit date when we quote.

QUALITY INSPECTION

What our inspectors actually check

Every inspection follows AQL (Acceptable Quality Level) international sampling standards. Our inspectors physically examine a statistically valid sample of your order — not a cherry-picked selection chosen by the factory. The sample size is calculated based on your total order quantity and agreed defect tolerance levels.

Dimensions & Tolerances

Physical measurements vs. your technical specification

Visual Defects

Scratches, color variation, poor finishing, surface flaws

Function Testing

Operational performance checks against agreed standards

Labels & Barcodes

Label accuracy, barcode scan validation, language requirements

Packaging Integrity

Carton strength, inner protection, drop-test compliance

Quantity Verification

Carton count vs. PO — every unit accounted for

Report Delivered Within 24 Hours

Every inspection produces a comprehensive photo-documented report within 24 hours of completion. The report includes a clear pass/fail result, defect counts by category and severity, photos of every issue found, and a corrective action recommendation. You make the final call — ship, hold, or correct before loading.

AQL Standards

International AQL sampling methodology — the same standard used by global retailers and brands worldwide. Statistically valid, impartial, and defensible.

Photo Documentation

Every defect is photographed in context. You see exactly what our inspectors saw — no ambiguity, no supplier disputes.

Nationwide Coverage

We confirm the visit date when we quote, and cover factories across China’s manufacturing regions.

Corrective Action Support

When a shipment fails, we send a formal corrective action request to the factory and can coordinate the rework.

All Manufacturing Regions

Guangdong, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Shandong, Fujian, Sichuan — our inspector network covers the major production hubs across China’s manufacturing regions.

Real-Time Updates

Your account manager keeps you informed throughout the inspection day, not just when the final report is delivered.

FAQ

What does a factory visit cost?

It is quoted per request. What moves the number is where the factory is, what the product is, and how much there is to check — tell us those three things and we come back with a price, and we confirm the visit date when we quote. What you get does not change: one factory, one visit, and a photo-documented written report within 24 hours of the visit, covering either a supplier verification visit or a pre-shipment inspection run to ISO 2859-1 AQL sampling — you choose which. Everything else we do — sourcing projects, procurement management, freight, warehousing, compliance, and any multi-factory or ongoing programme — is quoted per request too.

What is AQL and why does it matter?

AQL (Acceptable Quality Level) is an internationally recognized statistical sampling method defined by ISO 2859. It determines how many units to inspect from a production batch and sets the maximum number of defects allowed for a shipment to pass. This ensures consistent, objective quality decisions rather than subjective spot checks.

When should I schedule an inspection?

We recommend a pre-shipment inspection when 80% or more of production is complete and packed. For high-risk or complex products, we also advise a during-production inspection at 20-30% completion to catch issues early. Container loading inspections are available for shipments where packing integrity is critical.

How quickly do I receive the inspection report?

You receive the full inspection report with photos and defect analysis within 24 hours of the on-site visit.

Can you inspect at any factory in China?

Our QC team covers all major manufacturing regions across China, including Guangdong, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Fujian, and Shandong. We confirm the visit date when we quote.

What happens if my shipment fails inspection?

If a shipment fails, it doesn’t move until you decide what to do about it. We issue a detailed corrective-action request to the factory outlining every defect, and we can coordinate the rework. A failed batch is the factory’s to fix and yours to decide on, and our job is to measure it accurately either way. What we don’t charge you for is our own mistake: if our work was incomplete or we got something wrong, we go back at our cost.
